Historical and architectural center - Pskov Kremlin!



Pskov is filled with bright and stately sights! Despite their large number, every resident and guest of the city should visit the historical and architectural center - the Pskov Kremlin!

During the existence of the Pskov Republic, the Kremlin, with its cathedral, veche square and Kromsky stands, was the spiritual, legal, and administrative center of our land.

The territory of Krom is surrounded by stone fortified walls with transitional sites. The eastern wall of the Kremlin is 435 meters long, the western is 345 meters, and the southern is 88 meters.

In the center of the entire architectural composition is the Trinity Cathedral - the highest building in Pskov. Its height is 78 meters. It is amazing that in clear weather it can be seen 10-15 kilometers from the city! According to legend, the first wooden cathedral was built here back in the reign of Princess Olga in 957.
